These terms govern your use of Saral Shiksha Yojna ("the site"). Using the site means you accept them. They're intentionally short.

Saral Shiksha Yojna is an independent, alumni-built project. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H or IIITH). The institute's name, course codes, and instructor names appear only to identify the courses the revision material is written for.

Nature of the content

Everything on the site is a revision aid — short notes, cheatsheets, formulas, memory triggers, sample papers and practice questions. It is written by alumni based on publicly available course syllabi and on the authors' own study experience.

We do not host or display any lecture slides.
We do not host or display any past exam papers (PYQs). Sample papers on the site are original.
The material is paraphrased and original; it is not a copy of any course's official material.

No warranty of accuracy

The content is provided "as is." Revision material is condensed by nature and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. It is not a substitute for the course's official lectures, textbooks, or tutorials, and it carries no guarantee that material on the site will appear on any actual exam. Always cross-reference important facts with the official course material before relying on them.

Acceptable use

Use the site for your own studying. You may share links to pages with classmates. Don't scrape the site at scale or republish the content as your own. Don't attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting infrastructure.

Intellectual property

Written content on the site (notes, cheatsheets, sample-paper questions, explanations) is the work of its authors. If you believe a page contains material that infringes your rights, email us at the address below and we'll investigate promptly.

Third-party ads

The site is supported by Google AdSense. Ads are served and measured by Google. We don't endorse advertised products and don't control which specific ads appear on any given page. See the Privacy Policy for details on cookies and ad personalization.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site's authors are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site — including, without limitation, exam outcomes, academic consequences, or decisions made based on the content. Use the material as one input among many, not as the sole basis for study.
